Definition of an ENTJ

ENTJ is the acronym used by the Myers-Briggs (MBTI) to describe extroverted people who prefer to use their intuition, thinking, and judging preferences to receive information, make decisions, and interact with the outside world.

Extroverts draw energy from the external world and they like to be around a lot of people. They are friendly, cheerful, enthusiastic, energetic, and charismatic.

ENTJ characteristics

ENTJs are extremely organized and decisive, and they have strong people skills, so they make terrific leaders. People are drawn to them because of their optimism, passion for life, and impressive achievements.

Although ENTJs have a fun-loving nature, they are practical realists who prefer a hands-on approach to life. They effectively manage people but they can be controlling and ruthless when they are on a quest for success.

It’s no surprise that ENTJ famous people are popular and command respect from their co-workers, business associates, fans, political supporters, and even their rivals.

Famous ENTJs live life to the fullest. They know what they want and they don’t let anything stop them from achieving their goals.

Life is precious, so they don’t waste time whining about their traumatic life experiences or present difficulties. They are self-assured and optimistic about the future. Long-term goal-setters and high-achievers, ENTJ famous people put 100% effort into whatever they do.

It’s not just their ambitious nature, determination to be the best, strong work ethic, and positive attitude that draws admiration. It is also their amazing resilience and ability to turn their tragedies into triumphs.

Regardless of their friendly nature, ENTJs are strong-minded. They tend to be direct and blunt and can sometimes offend people when they are expressing their opinions.

You might think they are arrogant, insensitive, or heartless because of their controversial views or outrageous behavior. However, famous ENTJs care about people too. And don’t forget, they are extroverts, so they love to be the center of attention. If people are talking about them, negative press is a small price to pay for being famous.

Cognitive functions

The intuition preference is essential for famous ENTJs. It helps them to receive information, discern people’s true motivations, work cohesively with others, and create a healthy life/work balance.

ENTJ famous people are often called upon to make important decisions about their careers. One wrong decision can end up in career bankruptcy.

Their sharp logical brain helps them to make strategic decisions under pressure and hopefully avoid mistakes that can ruin their reputation.

Although ENTJs are more adaptable than other thinking/judging personalities, they like to be in control of a situation.

Famous people work in highly volatile industries so by making careful judgments about situations and people, they can live the orderly life they desire.

He is famous for his socio-economic reforms, peace-making endeavors, and being a beacon of hope for the American people during two of the greatest crises of the 20th century; The Great Depression and World War II.

FDR was the first president with a significant physical disability. He was diagnosed with a debilitating paralysis, better known as polio, at the age of 39. Although he fought to regain the use of his legs by swimming, he used a wheelchair in private. When he appeared in public, he used crutches or was supported by an aide or one of his sons.

Steve Jobs was an inventor, businessman, and co-founder of Apple Inc. He has been called a pioneer of the personal computer era, an incredibly gifted innovator, a brilliant entrepreneur, and an amazing visionary.

After working at the Atari Corporation as a video game developer in the 70s, Jobs went into business together with a former high school friend, Stephen Wozniak. Their first computer invention was the Apple I, a desktop computer that was built in the Jobs’ family garage. It was superseded by the improved Apple II.

In January 1984, Jobs introduced the Macintosh. It was simple to use but wasn’t very powerful, had few software applications, and was expensive. Apple worked on improving it and the Macintosh quickly set the standard for future personal computers.

In late 1996, Apple experienced huge financial losses, primarily due to problems with the PowerBook 5300. Jobs responded to this crisis by introducing the innovative iMac desktop, which offered customers a high-speed processor at a more affordable price, and the choice of five bright colors.

By the end of the year, the iMac was the nation’s highest-selling personal computer. Its upgraded sleek all-in-one design continues to be a customer favorite.

In 1999, Jobs launched the stylish iBook, a laptop computer, which was hugely popular too.

In 2007, the first iPhone was unveiled to the world, and it has continued to evolve into a must-have portable device.

Steve Jobs and his team at Apple have also created iTunes, the iPod, the iPad, and the iWatch, and I am sure there are many more smart devices to come.

In 2022, Jobs was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom after his death from cancer.

Even though Steve Jobs was a tough boss who had a “tendency to be rough on people”, he was highly respected by his team. He inspired and motivated them to do the impossible: designed cutting-edge revolutionary products that have changed the way we work and play.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”
